Gemini meteor shower
On the night of December 14th and 15th, see thousands of twinkling lights in the sky (Gemini metroer shower).
What are lights?
Just as we have fireworks in the sky at a wedding or a big celebration or the beginning of a new year and we see different colors scattered in the sky, the same scene is seen in the sky on the nights of 14th and 15th December. It can be seen, the sight we are going to see in the sky tonight is called the Gemini meteor shower.
The reason for the Gemini meteor shower:
Why would these lights be seen in the sky at night?
The lights seen in the night sky are caused by the death of an asteroid called "Phaethon 3200", and some of its remnants still orbiting the Sun,
on December 14th and 15th as our Earth orbits the Sun, reaches the point where the remains of this dead planet Phaethon 3200, and when our Earth moves in its orbit around the Sun at a speed of 30 km per hour, these particles enter the atmosphere of our earth and They burn as they rub against the air in our Earth's atmosphere, giving us the different lights we see in the night sky.
Shining colors Range:
If you are away from artificial lights, you can see 120 to 130 meteoroids per hour, and if you are close to urban lights, you can see about 50 meteoroids per hour.
Where can the Gemini metroid shower be seen?
The two stars of the Gemini constellation (Castor and Pollux) towards the east will have its Radiant point from where the emanation will be felt.
How to watch Gemini Shower at night?
Some people complain that we look at the sky at night but we don't see this meteor shower, then it is because our eyes are not able to adjust to the darkness of the night. First look at the sky and at least five minutes. Adjust your eyes to the darkness, then you will easily see the light moving in the sky in the night and thus you can enjoy this beautiful sight.
