Rockstar Games has now, sort of, made its announcement, but it didn't come with a full Grand Theft Auto 6 reveal as expected.

Rockstar Games has just dropped a seismic announcement, igniting the excitement of gamers worldwide, as they've confirmed that the long-awaited Grand Theft Auto 6 reveal trailer is set to blaze its trail across screens in December 2023.

On the memorable date of September 18, 2022, a digital enigma known as "teapotuber hacker" astounded the gaming realm by sharing a trove of 90 tantalizing videos, collectively unraveling 50 minutes of a work-in-progress gaming masterpiece on the revered GTAForums. This revelation, later verified by none other than gaming insider Jason Schreier through undisclosed Rockstar sources, offered a captivating glimpse into various stages of development, with some videos dating back nearly a year.

This captivating cache of content unveiled a modern-day Vice City as its backdrop, delivering a tantalizing blend of animation tests, gameplay experiments, level blueprints, character interactions, and gripping scenes that witnessed the player characters, Jason and Lucia, brazenly entering a strip club and orchestrating a heist at a local diner. The audacious hacker behind this digital spectacle even made the audacious claim of responsibility for the recent Uber security breach, asserting that they had clandestinely downloaded these valuable files straight from Rockstar's internal Slack channels.


In a daring twist, this shadowy figure had acquired an astonishing arsenal of gaming treasures, including the coveted source code, assets, and confidential builds of both the upcoming Grand Theft Auto installment and its predecessor, Grand Theft Auto V.
